PASSING THOUGHT
online people are like emerging sketches
the list of followers and their profile interests
are windows on shards of their character
their sunlight
their shadows
their momentum
posts offering current skies, colours and textures
are wistful pauses
in their crowded day
their motivation
their brand of happiness
wounds from love and loss
mountain bushland reflections
any old memories
that ice and burn the mind
are the weights in their soul
and the sketches transform
like restless fluids...
lines are
erased
replaced
the portrait is never
quite complete
