The University of Sydney used to have a magnificent jacaranda in the main quad. It served as the backdrop for many graduations and weddings. The tree lasted 88 years till 2016. But in 2014, cuttings were taken and grafted on other jacarandas. Successful clones meant life renewed. https://t.co/xwHbpPDbey
