you and the universe...

Over the past 12 months of living alone,
I have felt some growing sense of energy
connecting me with the earth, the sea, the sky...
and auras rising...

what you do just cos'...

Grabbing distractions...
Twitter stimuli for writing...
something...
anything...
Found this...
I'm there...

Rookwood - from train station to church...

Thoughts of my father buried at Rookwood cemetery in Sydney...
In my short life of knowing him (12 years), he became a sacred connection with some sanity...
Surprise thoughts of him today remind me of that precious connection...

clipped back...

One of my favourite paintings...so timeless...so connected to 'the now'...
Amazing how old art can synchronise so intensely with current emotions...
Yes...I am seeking outlets and escapes and empathy for my own inner tensions...

when I wake up...

keen golfer...

I know this is not strictly Mornington Peninsula happenings...
But hey...a laugh here and there is good for the health...
no matter where you are...
Creative golf...Thanks kid...

Aussie Pops Orchestra - What a Wonderful World

It's Palm Sunday morning...and I seem to be on a music safari...
bringing the spirit alive and smiling...
It's a new day...a new life...
A great new life...
let's make it be so...
And after proudly sharing SBS slowTV's Cadbury journey in Australia last night
and Mentone Girls' Grammar chorale this morning (in an earlier post today),
I have now found this one...
John Foreman's Aussie Pop's Orchestra
supporting all artists and keeping the Arts world alive...
keeping the music in us all alive...

Feeling so proud to be a part of the Australian community...

inspire with chalk...

I admire what others are doing to keep the world smiling...
Rob Cairns is a teacher on the Bellarine Peninsula...
Her creative idea could easily be a project for students to try...

a rare autumn Easter view...

my little furball...

a school gives to the community...

Here is a wonderful gift for the community from Mentone Girls' Grammar School in Melbourne...
This is applying the educational spirit to a good cause...humanity...

So proud to be a teacher when I see the spiritual strength possible in education...

Message on Mentone Girls' Grammar Facebook page 20 hours ago  - We have never needed each other as much as we do now, but while we may be physically separated, we can still join together in harmony. Our incredible Kellerman Chorale joined by Mr Mouskovias and led by our wonderful Mr Toppi would like to send you all a message of hope and love.
