good news and bad news...
PASSING THOUGHT: Another rollout of scary pandemic news as per usual today. By 8:30am I braved the supermarket this morning. Packed already. That's all for bad news. The good news=literally everyone in Dromana Hub masked up+QR coding.
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) December 23, 2021
Literally everyone was giving people space🙏

shopping early or late...
I have levelled up to super careful mode. Missed my usual 9:00am rule to be at the shopping centre if I must shop. So instead arrived at 8:05pm tonight. Offloaded a carload of good to Salvos (part of my big cleanse before moving) and went to the supermarket.

Hardly anyone there.

Dromana mural extension...
This morning, I found that the large Dromana mural overlooking the Dromana Hub carpark had been extended further...Again, difficult to photograph, with small fence, plants and cars nearby, but this seemed to be the clearest angle... pic.twitter.com/IIdYvf9ISI

shining on RUOK Day...
PASSING THOUGHT: I know RUOK Day is becoming like another entitled day on the calendar. But today in Dromana was special- RUOK messages on IGA walls near the registers+staff in yellow T-shirts+many wearing yellow RUOK hair ties+yellow balloons...

all masked up...
Yes...Very proud of my Dromana world on the Mornington Peninsula. Each time I do the supermarket shopping early, I would be hard-pressed to find anyone without a mask...That includes in the supermarket, the carpark, on the drive to+from (even people walking dogs are masked up)...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) August 8, 2021
It was IGA Dromana I was referencing 🤣
— lockeddown (@lovingit5555) August 8, 2021
I must admit, I know nothing about the rest of the Mornington Peninsula. Most are outside my 5km limit. My comment, as I mentioned, only referenced my ongoing experience in one place - Dromana...and specifically Dromana IGA area...
