I also didn't know that each donkey has his/her own style of braying...('hee' = during air intake + 'haw' = during air outflow). Something's wrong if a donkey brays all the time.

Anyway the outcome was she held it in with Herculean effort until we reached a turn off that sent us to some kind of industrial estate near Windsor where we jumped out of the mini and she defecated all over the tarmac with tangible relief shining in her eyes. So, a happy ending.
