PASSING THOUGHT: These are tangled times. Instead of feeling hopeless+helpless, I decided more fervently than ever to try to help someone each day. Today I organised a step-by-step visual guide for new teachers navigating our school SEQTA platform.

Everyone (+me) feels better...
Connecting moments in my peninsula world, my Australia and beyond...Whatever speaks to my thalassophile soul in these tidal days...

booster booking frenzy...
I'm booked in at my local pharmacy for a booster next Monday. TBH, I wouldn't be surprised if they have to cancel or postpone the appointment because lack of supply.

Ditto...I have a booster booking for 21st January at a pharmacist but don't trust reliability of supply...I am holding my later booking of 7th March at GP just in case...Not canceling unless the first appointment really happens...

hold on to inner peace...
Perhaps I cannot slow or divert the chaos around me right now, but I can hold on to my inner peace... https://t.co/A981ER828F

sometimes people try to start a war in your head because they can't find peace within themselves. always protect your peace.

empathy...
Somehow, the outrage and fear boiling over in the world, seems to have no borders... geographical distance does not lessen the pain and hurt... not at all...empathy— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) May 30, 2020

global chaos and panic?...
Today, the Twitter timeline seems to be like a scream... the voice of helpless chaos in polarising times... It's almost deafening... True...There is so much not right with the world... But 'not right with the world' is part of our historical profile...It's just that we now have the wonderful media connections to report on it globally...regularly...daily...hourly... Our awareness is at a fever pitch, never known in history...More than ever, we need to centre, focus on our own music...Don't ignore the outside world...That is a dangerous attitude...But 'don't take it personal'...adapt... keep walking... and remember...play your music...Perhaps the world seems to be imploding - an endless roll of anger in chaos, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes - not man-made. There may be power and control, but not of a friendly, healthy kind. Keep the music of you...Keep playing...Someday someone will value your song... pic.twitter.com/oiDS1NEfAX— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) May 30, 2020
