Here it is nearly midnight in Melbourne, and I have been driving awhile on the Twitter freeway, trying to find something odd... (It's just my Saturday night freedom mood I guess)...And here it is...A 1974 passport for a 3,000 year old pharaoh... Now I feel content and smiling... https://t.co/P0ZdEI6OrX

1974 passport for a pharaoh...
Anthem...
An anthem for our times... complete with wonderful birds in flight...

'Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in'

landscape and a landscape painting...
To recognise a familiar painting in a landscape is like recognising your connection with a living, breathing soul... https://t.co/mzjGPqmK2b

street life for birds...
Love seeing wildlife take the opportunity to venture

into some 'blank' urban spaces...Curiosity is alive and well...Are these feathered ones seeking food or simply 'doing 'cos I can'?... https://t.co/ArZ58rfl8n
music in your day...
Any time, anywhere, it can be possible to put some music in your day... https://t.co/1L1as0YGm4

Brussels footpath mosaics of animals...
An incredible, community-friendly, council initiative... supporting artists, community spirit + locals + tourist attraction for a photo op...It's a win-win for all... https://t.co/62NLUvYi2j

And the Brussels council mosaic initiative (details in my last post) is not limited to cats...I am sure the one on the left below looks like an octopus... https://t.co/4YnSCi8FwV

Ancient Roman pool...
This clearly designed outdoor pool suggests that the Ancient Romans did not just favour fancy indoor, heated public pools or special indoor pools for the wealthy villa owner. And the find further suggests, could there be more? https://t.co/PVOwlnv5wS

Cole's Book Arcade...
The old Coles Book Arcade site on Bourke Street is today occupied by David Jones.Cole's Book Arcade - such a Melbourne legend...Cole expanded the Book Arcade until the mid-1910s, when it had 16 departments. Melbourne Museum today displays a taste of this arcade...The display includes original merchandise, quirky décor + most importantly, dancing monkeys. https://t.co/rV5uoOu0EJ pic.twitter.com/63luahtnnM

wisdom of crows...
Amazing article...New Caledonian Crows have the largest brain size of all crows+are known to be excellent tool makers. They utilize stems + leaves from particular plants to create “sticks” or “rake.” Both tools are used to dig and scrape insects from holes in logs and branches. https://t.co/ogDJAZpsYp pic.twitter.com/qiNIXzHSOM

priorities...
If Ms 12 only needs 'a second' of time and she's indulging in an essay, that means she must have written quite a great deal already... Go Ms 12...You should be proud...

cloud kitchen...
Just one sign of the new normal emerging? A cloud kitchen? A dark kitchen? And is it here to last or just a temporary back stop? https://t.co/eTooWx7tSA pic.twitter.com/jG9BZbYWTJ

light on reflection...
The light at the end of the tunnel is a common, maybe overworked and trite, maxim...
— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) September 11, 2020
But what about the light on reflection...Now there's a possibility... https://t.co/7THq13dUoE
dissolve self-pity...
It's a cold,wet,grey,rainy,Melbourne,Saturday morning..Too easy to slip into negative thoughts...But last night I chatted with a friend+realised...The best way to dissolve self-pity is to help https://t.co/MeOiK49EWu else in need...Magically, self-pity transforms into self-worth. pic.twitter.com/JpzOEKdckL

Took this photo of rosellas this morning between rain showers...
The rosella above seemed to be watching over the one below...in a caring kind of way...
These rosellas gave me the idea for this post, following on from, almost validating an experience last night, when I put my own concerns aside and tried to help a friend with family issues...
