coffee mug gift...

Just found out from Year 12 teachers currently at school, that school admin has gifted all teachers a coffee mug with our individual initials (quite large) imprinted on the side. The mugs, in clear gift wrap, wait on our desks for when we return.
That brought a smile to my day.

In these ruffled times, those of us 'out of wack' with routine + feeling some self-pity don't need to look too far to find a far worse situation. So we just buckle up and keep driving. And perhaps assist/support others along the way. That will give a positive spin to our journey.

post lockdown anxiety...

Yes...I'm especially anxious because when my school opens more at end of October, I will be travelling to an area currently a hotspot (+ no sign of change anytime soon). My mask will be worn at all times. One consolation, many student emails re vaccinations=missing remote class.
