wild evening party...
the packing saga begins...
PASSING THOUGHT: Finally, the packing saga has begun. First pick-up for storage will be 5th January 2022. Strangely, rather than fearing this long packing road, I am somewhat relieved; relieved that this new journey is really happening at last. Bring on April. pic.twitter.com/POp6C8bofU

heat hustle ahead...
Amid the pre-Christmas bustle, it looks as if we will also enjoy a heat hustle in Australia...

Fun times ahead...
(And today, in my Dromana world, the temperature has now risen, at 1:00pm, to 33°C.) https://t.co/FHhFx5h0c3
Yes...Just visited the Dromana wilds outside...Earlier this afternoon the temperature was 33°C but now 23°C. Quite a drop.

18-year-old me and now...
Extremely shy, anxious, romantic 18-year-old dreamer me would be utterly shocked. So many major life tragedies to survive and still be resilient. I have toughened up and ditched the shyness. But romantic, anxious me still lingers just beneath the surface.

go to plan for mental health...
My go-to plan...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) December 12, 2021
1. Reading and writing...lots of it if indoors is a must...
2. Lots of breathing + walking among trees or by the sea outdoors + reading and writing there. Sadly, the sea option is diminishing with the growing inflow of summer holiday crowds...
firing wild in northwest Tasmania...

Fires firing wild in the northwest and the summer season has barely begun... https://t.co/8TKddApkTz
Watching the Sisters Hills/Rocky Cape bushfire unfold from home I realised that it’s just less than a month since we had snow down to 300m. It’s been a wild ride this spring.

in this life
I choose to be a tree
ever-changing
a deciduous tree
sleeping winter slumbers
unfolding new leaves
in the springtime
those who love me
appreciate
