Wilcannia, NSW witnessed the historic floating of the first red river gum Aboriginal canoe in 80 years along the Baaka. Baaka is the Barkindji name for the Darling River. https://t.co/RbP1CvY7Dx

outback Tilpa...
Love outback surprises. I've found Tilpa, on the Darling River NSW. Only place in Australia to have a Boer War memorial including a commemorative to Harry (The Breaker) Morant + cemetery has no one in it. The 100-year-old only pub welcomes traveller's graffiti.

magic solution?...
Is this a magic solution for freshening up the troubled Murray-Darling River system? Or does the solution generate more problems? Predators of freshwater turtles increase in number when food source increases? https://t.co/cXftR5QQbX pic.twitter.com/Gw3WWQ2lj1
