I’ve just informed the Warne family that the Government will rename the Great Southern Stand at the MCG - the place he took his hat trick and 700th wicket - to honor Shane and his contribution to the game.

'It is better to be alive and wrong than right and dead.'
I'm not sure on that one. Still thinking.

I'd like to think that when Betty White arrived in Heaven she asked, "So is this Heaven?" and Bea Arthur told her, "No, it's Hell with better lighting, Rose"

farewell to David Gulpilil...
I'll never forget David Gulpilil's dramatic+sensitive role in the 1976 film 'Storm Boy'. But he was so much more than an actor...he was a singer and a painter. He had an amazing range of skills. A trailblazer for his culture. Thank you David for sharing your love of this land.

A trailblazer & giant of art and culture. Thank you, David Dalaithngu. I’ll never forget the impact Storm Boy had on me, from a wildlife, and Indigenous cultural perspective.

Bert deserves a State Funeral and if I'm invited,
— Kamahl AM (@OfficialKamahl) October 30, 2021
I'd be honoured to farewell my friend by singing Amazing Grace. Bert helped coin the question
"Why are people so unkind ?" some 40 years ago!
I can never thank him enough ! He was a "Wonderful, wonderful" man !@OfficialKamahl
