manna from heaven...
meaning of COVID-Reff number...
some relevant 'Alice in Wonderland'...
I'm hooked on 'Alice in Wonderland' today. Connect these quotes with our 'room'/climate as you wish.

"Most everyone's mad here."
"You may have noticed that I'm not all there myself."
"Some go this way. Some go that way. But as for me, myself, personally, I prefer the shortcut." pic.twitter.com/x2uhM70mZ5
Can't ignore the White Rabbit in 'Alice in Wonderland'...(Yes...I'm still hooked...)

"I'm late, I'm late! For a very important date! No time to say 'hello, goodbye,' I'm late, I'm late, I'm late!"
(With a respectful nod to Martin Foley's beautifully daggy 'ta-ta' today)... pic.twitter.com/Z0x34uzV5z

Caught in a spider web/trap?

This little guy looked as if he didn't quite have a spider's expertise in walking a tight rope...
He was there in the evening light, but gone the next morning... pic.twitter.com/zucgLllz0O

2nd AZ is getting closer...
My 2nd AZ is soon - on Tuesday 21st September...I too am hoping for a better reaction than I had the first time round...Ongoing headaches+dizziness were not much fun...Hope you are OK 🙏

Mad Hatter's Tea Party...
Somehow this 'gathering of the boys' (any girls?) reminds me of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party'. A Dormouse was sitting between the Hatter+the March Hare, fast asleep,+the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it,+talking over its head - a misguided agenda.

Port of Darwin and China?
The ABC article 12.3.19 has rather disturbing warnings associated with the Northern Territory gov.t's leasing of the Port of Darwin in 2015, without formal federal oversight...The story is murky, riddled with far too many questions+loopholes...And now? https://t.co/9Wtx0bVY4F

Not to mention, geographically, our potential' bigger war' is close to home and our 'allies' are further away...Our current allies have their own agenda too...It's not all about saving Australia...I wouldn't like to take bets on winning this one...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) September 17, 2021
In these 'shady' times, it would be so reassuring to see our government formulating a plan to develop diplomatic ties with China, instead of planning to antagonise. But no such 'friendly' plan has been considered as valid. It is all about shifting blame+let's play war games...

Our pseudo leader only goes where, to him, the PR appeal looks best for his public persona+photo ops. After all, the U.S. is bigger than France and the UK speaks English. France definitely doesn't quite rank in his opinion. He thinks he's found a better offer from better allies.

(On behalf of our pseudo leader) 🙄
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) September 17, 2021
Why? I don't see a problem...Lining up with the UK and the U.S. and dumping you in our deal is not all about vaccines...
PASSING THOUGHT: Never have I been so fired up about political shenanigans as I am these days. Never have I felt so gutted by so many of our politicians. I just can't be silent. So, I'll limit my outbursts to responses to others' posts+still aim to keep my timeline politics-free. pic.twitter.com/OK1yFbbnZ2

Great to see a symbolic demonstration of how the human spirit can be in tune with our Mother Nature... https://t.co/Cz5bUd8L5l pic.twitter.com/8L1ZDQNdt8

Twitter as a learning place...
When I first came to this site, I was (still am) a high school teacher+an older Mum up to the grandchildren saga. 12 years on, still a teacher, (maybe retiring),+still learning. People like you have extended my awareness outside my formal learning. That's worth acknowledging.
