So hope @CathLAndrews alerts Dan of this event, so he knows so many of us admire the strength of his spirit. Dan Andrews has survived the barrage of unknowns, the vicious barbs and still he soldiers on, intent on protecting Victorian people's lives. He's a hero deserving a medal.

On my Mornington Peninsula, in Dromana, it was 1 degree centigrade at 7:00am,
but now, at 9:00am, it is 4 degrees centigrade...

At 2:00pm, the temperature reached 10 degrees centigrade... 

At 4:30pm...back to 8 degrees and raining again...going down...

Everything I own is in storage, half a dozen lock-ups in four countries. I have more than 6,600 books, not counting chap-books, pamphlets, broadsheets, maps and old charts. Nearly all of them have been in boxes since 2007. I’m not sure I’ll ever see them all in one place again.

A few months ago, I had a prospect of earning some good money. I started looking for somewhere my wife and I could live: upstate New York or Vermont (thanks @genese_grill), a house with a barn we could fix up to house the books.
