@InceptiveJ I so love your header image. Surreal and real. A wonderful recipe for magic. pic.twitter.com/SBNAUgOB0s— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) June 8, 2020
The 'Rain Heron'...
Not often I feel driven to read a book, based on a brief, online extract. But 'The Rain Heron' sounds like the birth of an exciting new world of literature. Publication 2nd June...hot off the press. https://t.co/xUIRkDTOKW— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) June 8, 2020
To think, a book only just published already has inspired street art. That's a higher endorsement than being a groupie. https://t.co/rA27fyTLJ8— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) June 8, 2020

I could have gone out today...
PASSING THOUGHT: I could have gone out today, enjoyed the winter sunshine. But something stopped me. It's like a fear not just of being around people, but a fear of being out at all. More comfortable with my own trees and my own sky. They know me. pic.twitter.com/QAouRwDhrV— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) June 8, 2020

One bookshop experience I will never forget is my time spent at Berkelouw's Book Barn, Berrima on the south coast of New South Wales. Many holidays involved a necessary visit there. The bookshop was in the midst of fields...You could park your car and not be surprised to find a cow watching you right outside, (on Bendooley Estate). The bookshop was like a huge rambling ranch style house with a loft. (Since those days, it has now been upgraded to include a cafe.) I loved to visit Berkelouw's in winter. An armchair and the cosy roaring log fire was the place to settle while you browsed your book selection. And yes...the myriad scents of pre-loved books permeated everywhere...

trusting mothers...
This news is really quite sad. Mothers believe they help children with information, opinions + advice that is not theirs to own or prove. Too trusting of too many who don't deserve trust.— Gemma Wiseman (@AuraGem) June 7, 2020
