wine customs...
The glass pictured above was taken at Portsea Hotel - dating back to 1876. The hotel is probably one of the oldest surviving businesses on my peninsula. One day I may return there and enjoy the ambience of the grand old lady again...but not yet...
And yes...I know the image is not depicting a wine glass...I cheated, because I just like the hotel's insignia on the glass - which happens to be white...as is the summer 'liquid' inside...
