late afternoon wine...

PASSING THOUGHT; I'm drinking a late afternoon wine - which I never do. I've survived an intense, 2 hour conference re workplace issues. Amazingly, all my documented submissions have the rubber stamp of approval. I cannot believe it. I've more guts than I thought I had.🍷🍷🍷

Made it...just...is certainly the right call...The last few weeks have been draining, trying to get my students over the line...Lots of encouragement for them...lots of worry for me...But, I've enjoyed some celebration wine tonight...Tomorrow I'll face that outstanding marking...

Can't believe I've survived a term of remote learning+made it to school holidays! Yay! Celebrated with delivered meal+glass of wine tonight. The relief! But grateful to have had work at least, no matter how tiring. Tomorrow's another day- school planning+rest+planning+rest etc...

Seldom do I check wine history. The bottle I opened tonight is a Pinot Grigio, from Devil's Corner, Tasmania. Connection 1- Didn't realise this was Tassie wine. (Tas.=my soul place) 2.
