Gerry Johansson=Swedish photographer. Since early 80's, he's made quiet pictures of quiet places, often in industrial decline e.g semi-deserted parts of Kansas. He's travelled Japan, Sweden, Germany+the Antarctic, inspired by solitude and culture. His photography is in greyscale. https://t.co/iZzROqRvf3

Twice a year, the Stockholm Library Service rents a boat for a week and brings books to 23 inhabited islands. Each spring and fall, the boat is packed with approximately 3,000 books.
Sweden’s book boat (bokbåten) began serving the community in 1953.
