So I went for another walk in Plenty Gorge Park today. I’d only intended to be there for a couple of hours but I got carried away and ended up walking along Plenty River from Middle Gorge Station on the Mernda Line to Greensborough Station on the Hurstbridge Line - about 5 hours.

origin of my love of nature...

My love of the wild outdoors is thanks to my Dad. Our family wasn't poor, but we didn't have much money to throw around. We lived in an emerging estate. But we could walk down the end of our road to bushland. My Dad's Saturday morning ritual was to walk my brother and I there.
