Needed this distraction...
On the phone - I've just battled with a bank over an account - to all intents+purposes...closed a year ago...
Today, (first letter in 12 months), they wanted me to pay $99.00 account keeping fees.
Now I've completed a written request+posted it...

Wow, do I know this feeling, Eileen...The challenges (apart from covid) just keep coming...Yes...Possibly a 10 year span but picked up the pace+frequency over the last 2 years...I keep telling myself all these trials make me stronger to face the next time...

It is! The footpath runs next to his old house, which he'd called Farkham Hall. The new owners have taken down the hideous, tall fence by the footpath, renamed the house, and (I think) put up this memorial bench. Good on them.
