crazy but creative...
what to do on 'Victory Day'...
Dr Peter Morris @drpete00
What will you be doing on #VictoryDay in Victoria, now that restrictions are easing?
Wrong answers only.
Dance in a formal gown (complete with Venetian mask + PLP mask...I wish to be an enigma) with Dan Andrews outside Flinders Street station. Of course, Brett Sutton and Jeroen will wish to dance with me too, so, of course, I will oblige. But they will have to wait their turn.

I'd like Dan to wear his Northface jacket...It is a 'good news day' after all...Brett and Jeroen need to wear some funky formal attire...And a flashmob of the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra should accompany us...I'd like Dave Milner to film+report on the occasion for 'The Shot'...

Special extra notes...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) October 18, 2021
1. Martin Foley should be dressed as a town crier - (complete with bell) and announce the event on the steps of Flinders Street station.
2. Dan should announce this occasion as free from Murdoch press + associates (banned). Exclusive for 'The Shot' only.
I have just recorded a response (or two) to Dr Peter Morris @drpete00 question:

I definitely think I should recorded as
'a little crazy but fun'...

photo competition...
Love the light glow filtering through the wing feathers...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) October 18, 2021
So magical...
This captures a unique perspective of a bird on the wing+webby branch...The bird is not the 'main' focus, but rather the whole 'landscape' creates the emotional setting of the moment. The bird adds the energy. No bird no punch. Perhaps a little too 'avant-garde' for the judges?

inner Melbourne from the Treasury steps...
Sandy-sombre building tones, empty street+steps, all in greying light, create a melancholic, but still very beautiful urban atmosphere...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) October 18, 2021
The pillar 'extract' dominating on the left suggests that this is just a passing moment in time...
(Victorians who love urban life so hope...) https://t.co/K9kDMct9Zc
hilarious monologue of LG manual...
I think I'd slightly tweak SM's title for extra dramatic 'thump'...'Croc-o-Coal Dundee'...
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) October 18, 2021
The concept of the NY billboard about a PM in another country is certainly 'arresting'+confronting...But if this goads SM to 'do something', (ahem), then our embarrassment is worthwhile...
billboard in the limelight...

favourite Australian...
So difficult to choose an all-time favourite Australian. I could mention so many for different reasons. But I've decided to choose one man who has done so much for the less fortunate. He never stops trying to improve peoples' lives. That man is Melbourne's treasured Father Bob.

CovidBaseAU...
You guys are a mighty tough bunch. So many data challenges + now facing the source of the data. Stay strong. You've given so much to the Victorian community and we are so grateful. Now we will stand by you all. Just keep us posted on how you all are 🆘+ we'll 'prop you up'...😀

Can't believe that I missed this news on the recent Armidale NSW tornado.
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) October 17, 2021
Yes, I live in Victoria. But I was a student connected with the University of New England there some years ago. UNE has closed to assess building damage+ open again 20.10. https://t.co/AvmdDso3Mz
The tornado hit on the night of Thursday 14th October at about 10:00pm
