A confronting, heart-breaking image. For those who need hard-core evidence of how humans impact wildlife, this MUST be it. I can never forget 100's of cockatoos bombarding construction vehicles when land was cleared at Cranbourne. Pine trees were cut down. Hitchcock movie style.

Australian frill-necked lizard...

Apparently, in the 1880's-1930's, some considered that these lizards used their frills to parachute down from the canopy. Others thought the frill regulated body temperature.
