I have heard rumoured...(mentioned on 3MBS) that there is a mural of the fairy-wren in Fitzroy near the corner of Young Street...

I live on the Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne. The only time a see a number of fairy-wrens is at the extensive Coolart property, Somerville. You would think with the Arthur Seat National Park here, there would be more. I live near the park+have not seen one in 10 years.
