beyond Eurovision...

Beyond Eurovision...
Imagine Gjon's Tears + Barbara Pravi in duet...
Both are wells of endless, emotional power...
Could it happen? pic.twitter.com/5NN0xzPdlP

PASSING THOUGHT: Eurovision public voting...
I wonder to what extent body appeal + posture/posturising + special effects contribute to the public final vote on a song...
Further, it could be interesting to note the age range of the viewing audience...
It's not all about the song? pic.twitter.com/JMUiziDdTk

inspiration mirror...

PASSING THOUGHT: Avoid the inspiration mirror...
Imitating a writer or image maker
= a photoshopped replica...
Where are you?...
Seek the wheelbarrows of life
and give them a voice...
a meaning...
And then, your voice can be heard...
and felt... pic.twitter.com/NEPjN0ucNe

For the record, I support the jury voting - Switzerland's
Gjon's Tears in 1st place...
A beautiful personality shining through a beautiful song...
refreshing relief from the explosion of 'wham bam' glitz...
In the final count, Gjon's Tears placed 3rd... pic.twitter.com/lhRPWEzgUA

Eurovision 2021 - Adored the unique, magnetic sounds of France's Barbara Pravi's voice...
Placed 2nd...
Whispers of Edith Piaf in her voice blended with so much more...her roots extending through her grandparents to Serbia, Iran, Poland and North Africa.https://t.co/LtiAY4QRkF

Victoria Theatre lives again...

Amazingly, the oldest theatre still standing
in NSW is not in Sydney, but to the north, in Newcastle...
The 66 by 40 feet stage was huge for its time, much bigger than anything Sydney offered. There were even 12 dressing rooms.
The Victoria Theatre opened in 1876. https://t.co/oXWDhAPZQi pic.twitter.com/yRRAwoldHs
