Victoria Theatre lives again...

Amazingly, the oldest theatre still standing
in NSW is not in Sydney, but to the north, in Newcastle...
The 66 by 40 feet stage was huge for its time, much bigger than anything Sydney offered. There were even 12 dressing rooms.
