PASSING THOUGHT: Still in the land of removal boxes + butchers' paper (both ordered+on the way)...Trying to work out how to nail this humungous task by doing a little at a time...Still haven't quite figured out where to start+how/where to pile boxes so I don't feel 'snowed in'...

new Vic cases sharp up...
We thank everyone who got vaccinated and tested yesterday.

Sadly, the new cases have jumped to 383 more than yesterday's 1534...Sighhhhhhh
greenie so no jab?....
I know of a delightful someone who is very much a greenie. It's a no meat, no processed food+no Gladwrap household. Somehow, having the jab, does not compute with her greenie plan for/view of life. I cannot quite see the connection. She's teaching remotely for now, but then what?

in shock...
PASSING THOUGHT: I'm in shock. My creative mind has drawn a blank. My home (a rental) is up for sale. So I really do have to 'walk the talk' to retirement + move to a country town near my daughter. Now all I'm talking about is packing boxes, butcher paper+tape dispensers. O help.

Montague Street Bridge story is Melbourne's iconic story...
I won’t believe lockdown is over until someone hits the Montague St Bridge. https://t.co/mjKwzXNRJO

Are we really back to normal if the Montague St Bridge hasn't claimed a truck's roof to appease the Bridge Gods?

A true Melbourne icon. Sydney has the Opera house and harbour bridge, we have the Montague St Bridge.

You know things are dire for @LiberalVictoria when a truck getting stuck under Montague St Bridge gets more coverage than their press conference.

If everyone who hit the Montague st bridge had to give up their license we'd have a massive shortage of drivers.

PLEASE NOTE: Contest????
I think this might be number 4 for the Napier St Bridge for the year which means it's even-Steven with perennial champ Montague St Bridge at the top of the Melbourne Low Bridge Disasters League for this, the 2021 season. https://t.co/l3zVdZpCFy

teaching history?...
The term ‘history’ refers to how someone has tried to reconstruct ‘the past’ in a way that we can understand. Most of the time, ‘history’ is when a professional historian writes a book to explain what a society, culture, person, or event might have been like, based upon the evidence that remains.'The curriculum draft acknowledges that other knowledges+civilisations (e.g. Eastern+Indigenous) have worldviews+cultures worth knowing. It asks students to think about their own place in time+in the world, + asking them to think about what is unique about being Australian.' ⏳⏳ https://t.co/yUqP4th3mm
