PASSING THOUGHT: Just spent over an hour on the phone with my daughter in NSW. She worries about my being alone for Christmas. She's busy tomorrow with family (will still ring) however thought she would spend some time with me tonight.

Great Christmas gift.
Love her to pieces.

booster booking quandary...
PASSING THOUGHT: GH announcement today that boosters can be booked @ 4 months from 4th January+ end of January=3 months sent me into a spin. My booster for AZ booked for 7th March @ my beloved Red Hill Medical Centre. Shop around? Others nearby=no bookings till 6 weeks. Hang in🙏

I already had my GP appointment booked for 7th March for booster. Rang today after GH's announcement to see if I could bring it forward. No. Appointments full + no guarantee of supply. Tried other local GPs - Wednesday only in 6 weeks but no guarantee of supply.

National Roots Day...
23rd December-National Roots Day-has been celebrated in the US for c.40 years but is little known beyond?

Falling just before Christmas, globally recognised as a family day, it seems timely to have a global, 'ancestral' kind of celebration as an entrée before the main course... pic.twitter.com/H8BZxV1fU1
Baghdad murals...
Murals in Baghdad - the Butterfly Effect, a crew of Iraqi painters, use their art 'to beautify the walls of old houses with colours and drawings in order to give hope and happiness and encourage a culture of art and peace in society'. https://t.co/FdC9LntVF9 via @TheNationalNews

divine timing?...
So hope this means my intention to retire+move to the country in April 2022 is the 'right time' after all the stalls and challenges throughout 2021+gradual culling and packing in late 2021...

I should have moved by Christmas 2021...but...
I'm relying heavily on divine timing🙏... https://t.co/pNMgOWFOz2
good news and bad news...
PASSING THOUGHT: Another rollout of scary pandemic news as per usual today. By 8:30am I braved the supermarket this morning. Packed already. That's all for bad news. The good news=literally everyone in Dromana Hub masked up+QR coding.
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) December 23, 2021
Literally everyone was giving people space🙏
