Love this view of Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building framed in autumn.
— Gemma Wiseman - on Bunurong land, Kulin Nation (@AuraGem) April 30, 2021
The building has enjoyed a few autumns since 1880.
Interesting that the building, in 1919, was used as a temporary hospital for Spanish Flu pandemic sufferers. https://t.co/f66U8Rh2YL

I've been in both Launceston+Hobart many times. In all fairness, I feel the diffusion of light round buildings may generate a perspective of Launceston's 'nicer buildings'. The closeness of Hobart's dark buildings seems to water down the light flow. Not so in hilly Launceston.

official rise of indigenous names...
Naree is part of the traditional Country of the Budjiti people. It's a former pastoral property found in one of the least disturbed parts of the Murray-Darling Basin in north-western NSW. It lies in the Mulga Lands bioregion, 150km north-west of Bourke, on the Cuttaburra Channels that connect the Paroo and Warrego rivers. Its southern boundary is the Cuttaburra Creek, and Yantabulla Swamp adjoins the property to the west... Naree helps protect nationally significant, arid-zone ephemeral wetlands...Naree Station ReserveIndeed, a gorgeous goanna...
