Adored watching the antics of these monkeys in Launceston's City Park when I lived in northern Tasmania...
Today, 20 macaques are there...

Launceston v Hobart...

I've been in both Launceston+Hobart many times. In all fairness, I feel the diffusion of light round buildings may generate a perspective of Launceston's 'nicer buildings'. The closeness of Hobart's dark buildings seems to water down the light flow. Not so in hilly Launceston.

Here you have some dates of when snow settled in Tasmanian towns: HObart 1882, 1888, 1894, 1921, 1951 and 1986, Launceston 1882,1921,1951 and 2020,Burnie 1951, Wynyard August 1933, Smithton August 1943, Devonport and Ulverstone never.-only falling flakes.
