Somehow this 'gathering of the boys' (any girls?) reminds me of the Mad Hatter's Tea Party'. A Dormouse was sitting between the Hatter+the March Hare, fast asleep,+the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it,+talking over its head - a misguided agenda.
