My mask days coninue.
Supermarket shopping this morning I wore one + all Dromana IGA salespeople masked up but only about 75% of shoppers masked...
I also wear a mask at petrol stations...
I don't see a change in my habit any time soon...
My age is my underlying condition...

voluntary lockdown...

I've never been a social butterfly, but now I'm more a hermit than ever.
Some friends continue socialising, so I've not met up with them.
Just teach part-time+supermarket shopping (for the past 2 years).
I read+write.
Walks will increase post-tourist season on my peninsula.

panic attacks...

Same here...My panic attacks are rising. A crowded carpark or supermarket will now turn me around for home. I don't/can't venture there. I try to pick my times when minimal numbers of people are around...

PASSING THOUGHT: Not motivated to do supermarket shopping that should have been done yesterday. Trying to find+activate some hope beyond lockdown seems somehow more important. But the milk dregs are 'smirking' at me. The little left may not give me a morning coffee tomorrow. 🙄

PASSING THOUGHT: It's 6:17am+still so very dark outside...My school's shut down online connections (building construction demands) till 11am...My furball's complaining loudly-she needs a 'top-up' of food (1st round of breakfast=not enough)...I'm idly scrolling Twitter...Limbo..🙄

I'm waiting for the supermarket to open at 7:00am...Then I will move to beat any possible crowds...I know many Melburnians rushed to my peninsula world when a week's lockdown was announced last Thursday...I don't want to risk that some may be early risers...Never has it been more true that 'less is more'...meaning more safe...

Would you believe, this is an 8:00am view of Saturday morning at Dromana IGA... (Opens at 7:00am)...
In total, I probably counted 4 maybe 5 customers in my wander round the aisles - not counting staff...
And yes...plenty of toilet rolls...
