My daughter lives in NSW with her boys...I've not seen them for 2+ years...I live in Melbourne too, + simply am grateful NOT to visit them...My daughter feels the same way...She doesn't want to bring a virus to Melbourne, to me...But we chat...There's always a way to connect...

I'm thinking of World War scenarios= family at home+family fighting in far-off countries. All they had were letters for connection, for hope - that is if the letters weren't 'red taped' censored or lost. We've more opportunities to connect with pandemic-ruled family. We're lucky.
