mask wearing really is becoming a habit...
I nearly put a mask on before my Zoom call tonight. Doing just fine, thank you. #lockdown

Love that just shows how conditioned some of us are I went outside in regional Vic asked why I had 2 masks on. One was hanging around my neck other on correctly.

Hayfever season . Sneezed in my mask whilst holding a tissue on the mask.

an antidote from other wires...
Thank you 🙏...Whispering spring leaves + blossoms are a wonderful antidote to other news in Victoria...Felt the pain of the brilliant Victorian health team today...

on this first spring day
if I could give you gold
to make you smile
I would
but instead
know the thoughts
of your Victorians
are shining in support
by your side
- that's all the gold you need...
GO IN PEACE 🙏 pic.twitter.com/wVo4XQvjho
For the first time, at today's presser, the team seemed so tired, so defeated, but still struggled on...I just had to post something for them...(Cases slipped over 100)...
Schools are currently closed till Term 4...a tough announcement to make + only playgrounds opened with children accompanied by masked parents at all times...Only regional Victoria has more easing of lockdown restrictions - except Shepparton...

We all felt your pain today at the presser...It's a mighty tough gig for you guys...You are simply doing wonders...over+above the call of duty... Tough announcement post late night meeting...
Your thoughts reached me...I too am an ex Sydney-sider and have been living in Melbourne for just over 20 years...I too have felt the community spirit here, far greater than I have ever felt before...Perhaps it took a pandemic to make me grateful for being here...

I know I speak for an enormous number of colleagues when I express my confidence & respect for the work being done by @VictorianCHO, & all his colleagues across Australia. Their burden of responsibility is terrible & heavy. The work is never easy, & the stakes high. #COVID19Vic
